The photos at the right show the same patient after and before Dr. Muslin's treatments. This woman was considering undergoing plastic surgery in order to restore her youthful appearance.

She had been treated by "cosmetic dentists" before, but as of yet had not been satisfied with the results; crowns and orthodontics had failed to address her underlying issues.

After her consultation with Dr. Muslin, she was convinced to undergo Face Lift Dentistry before committing to plastic surgery.

Correcting the Bite

As you can see from the close-up photos below, the patient's teeth were suffering from extreme wear due to teeth grinding (bruxism). As a result, her lips had begun to collapse inward, making them appear thin and uneven. This was also resulting in less-than-ideal jaw alignment, causing her to experience further wear. Without treatment, the patient would soon be experiencing moderate to severe headaches as well as neck and shoulder pain.

By "raising" the patient's bite, proper teeth alignment (occlusion) was restored. This was accomplished with the use of custom-made crowns and other reconstructive materials, applied to the surfaces of the teeth. Using CAT scan technology, Dr. Muslin was able to follow the results of his treatments carefully at every step of the process, making corrections as needed.

A New Smile Results in Rejuvenation

The patient now enjoys a longer, more youthful-looking face, fuller and more attractive lips, and a broader smile - all without the need for plastic surgery.

The patient's daughter indicated that Dr. Muslin's treatments had taken 20 years off her appearance.

Needless to say, the patient cancelled her scheduled plastic surgery, as it was no longer necessary.
